Critical Constraints
- Dynamic SPA: Direct URL navigation often fails - use search from top page
- New Tab Behavior: Patent detail links open in new tabs - must switch tabs
- Session State: Search results persist in session - can re-access via back navigation
Workflow: Patent Number Search
1. Navigate to Top Page
Navigate to https://www.j-platpat.inpit.go.jp/
2. Search by Patent Number
- Find the search input field (placeholder: "例：AI 画像認識")
- Type the patent number (7-digit number)
- Click the search button/link
3. Navigate to Patent Details
- In search results, find the patent link (format: "特許NNNNNNN")
- Click the link - this opens a new tab
- Switch to the new tab to view patent details
4. Expand Patent Sections
Patent page sections are collapsed by default. Click to expand:
- "請求の範囲 開く" - Claims section
- "詳細な説明 開く" - Detailed description section
